Tera(이하 "회사")는 Simple Speedo(이하 "앱")를 이용하시는 분들의 개인정보를 중요하게 생각하며, 앱이 어떤 정보를 수집하고 어떻게 사용하는지를 아래와 같이 투명하게 안내합니다. 본 방침은 Google Play의 데이터 보안(Data safety) 및 Apple App Store의 앱 개인정보 보호 정보 공시 내용과 일치합니다.

1. 앱이 수집하는 정보

앱은 회원가입을 요구하지 않으며, 이름·이메일·전화번호·주소 등 사용자를 직접 식별하는 정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 다만 광고 게재와 앱 품질 분석을 위해 앱에 포함된 제3자 SDK를 통해 다음 정보가 수집됩니다.

위 정보는 앱 이용 중 자동으로 수집되며, 앱의 광고 기능을 위해 필수적이므로 사용자가 개별적으로 수집을 거부할 수는 없습니다. 다만 아래 5. 이용자의 선택권에 안내된 방법으로 광고 ID를 초기화하거나 맞춤형 광고를 해제할 수 있습니다.

2. 위치정보(GPS) 처리 방식

• 앱은 GPS 좌표 변화를 이용해 현재 속도와 이동 거리를 계산합니다.
• 계산이 끝난 좌표값은 저장되지 않으며, 앱을 종료하면 즉시 사라집니다.
• 위치 권한은 앱을 사용하는 동안에만 사용됩니다.
• 사용자는 언제든지 기기 설정에서 위치 권한을 철회할 수 있으며, 이 경우 속도 측정 기능은 동작하지 않습니다.

1항의 "대략적인 위치"는 GPS가 아니라 광고·분석 SDK가 인터넷 접속 IP 주소로부터 추정하는 국가/지역 수준의 정보로, 위 GPS 정보와는 별개입니다.

3. 제3자 서비스 및 데이터 공유

앱은 다음 제3자 서비스를 이용하며, 각 서비스는 자체 개인정보처리방침에 따라 정보를 처리합니다.

회사는 위 목적 외에 이용자의 정보를 판매하거나 대여하지 않습니다. 법령에 따른 수사기관의 적법한 요청이 있는 경우에만 관련 법령이 정한 절차에 따라 제공될 수 있습니다.

4. 보관 및 파기

• GPS 위치 정보: 저장하지 않음(실시간 처리 후 즉시 폐기)
• 앱 설정값(단위, 테마 등): 사용자의 기기 내부에만 저장되며, 앱 삭제 시 함께 삭제됩니다.
• 광고·분석 데이터: Google의 보관 정책에 따라 보관되며, 기본적으로 수집 시점으로부터 최대 14개월 후 자동 삭제됩니다.

5. 이용자의 선택권

맞춤형 광고 해제 및 광고 ID 초기화

• Android — 설정 → Google → 모든 서비스 → 광고 → "광고 ID 삭제" 또는 "맞춤 광고 선택 해제"
• iOS — 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → 추적 → "앱이 추적을 요청하도록 허용" 해제

권한 철회

• 위치 — 기기 설정 → 앱 → Simple Speedo → 권한 → 위치
• 알림 — 기기 설정 → 앱 → Simple Speedo → 알림 (앱의 알림은 기기 내에서 생성되는 로컬 알림이며 별도의 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다)

데이터 삭제 요청

앱을 삭제하면 기기에 저장된 모든 설정값이 삭제됩니다. 수집된 광고·분석 데이터의 삭제를 원하시는 경우 teracokr@gmail.com으로 요청해 주시면 관련 법령이 정한 기간 내에 처리해 드립니다.

6. 아동의 개인정보

앱은 만 14세 미만(미국 등 일부 국가의 경우 만 13세 미만) 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동으로부터 고의로 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 아동의 정보가 수집된 사실을 인지한 경우 즉시 삭제합니다.

7. 국외 이전

앱이 이용하는 Google의 광고·분석 서비스 특성상, 위 1항의 정보는 Google LLC가 운영하는 미국 등 국외 서버에서 처리·보관될 수 있습니다. 이전되는 항목과 목적은 1항 및 3항과 같으며, 이전받는 자는 Google LLC(1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA)입니다.

8. 방침의 변경

본 방침이 변경되는 경우 변경 내용을 본 페이지에 게시하며, 중요한 변경은 앱 내 공지 또는 스토어 업데이트 설명을 통해 안내합니다.

Privacy Policy

Tera ("we") operates the Simple Speedo mobile app ("the app"). This policy explains what information the app collects and how it is used. It is consistent with the Google Play Data safety disclosure and the Apple App Store privacy details for this app.

1. Information we collect

The app does not require an account and does not collect directly identifying information such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address. However, the third-party SDKs bundled in the app collect the following in order to serve advertising and analyze app quality.

This information is collected automatically while you use the app. Because it is required for the app's advertising functionality, it cannot be individually opted out of within the app. You can, however, reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads as described in Section 5.

2. How GPS location is handled

• The app calculates your current speed and distance travelled from changes in GPS coordinates.
• Coordinates are discarded immediately after the calculation and disappear when you close the app.
• Location access is used only while the app is in use.
• You may revoke the location permission at any time in your device settings; speed measurement will then stop working.

The "approximate location" in Section 1 is not GPS data — it is country/region-level information inferred from your internet IP address by the advertising and analytics SDKs, and is separate from the GPS data described above.

3. Third-party services and data sharing

The app uses the following third-party services. Each processes data under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell or rent your information. Disclosure to law enforcement occurs only in response to a lawful request and following the procedures required by applicable law.

4. Retention and deletion

• GPS location: not stored — discarded immediately after real-time processing.
• App settings (units, theme, etc.): stored only on your device and removed when you uninstall the app.
• Advertising and analytics data: retained under Google's retention policies, by default deleted automatically up to 14 months after collection.

5. Your choices

Opting out of personalized ads / resetting your advertising ID

• Android — Settings → Google → All services → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
• iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"

Revoking permissions

• Location — Device Settings → Apps → Simple Speedo → Permissions → Location
• Notifications — Device Settings → Apps → Simple Speedo → Notifications. The app's notifications are generated locally on your device and collect no additional personal information.

Requesting deletion

Uninstalling the app deletes all settings stored on your device. To request deletion of collected advertising and analytics data, contact teracokr@gmail.com and we will process your request within the period required by applicable law.

6. Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 14 (under 13 in the United States and certain other jurisdictions) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

7. International transfers

Because the app uses Google's advertising and analytics services, the information described in Section 1 may be processed and stored on servers outside your country, including in the United States. The recipient is Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA); the items transferred and their purposes are as stated in Sections 1 and 3.

If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page. Material changes will additionally be announced in the app or in the store release notes.
